Temporary traffic restrictions on Tashkent streets

Vehicle traffic will be temporarily restricted on Furkat and Beshyagoch Streets in Tashkent due to ongoing infrastructure work, according to the press service of "Tashkent City Electric Networks" LLC.

To enhance the stability of energy resource supplies in the Shaykhantohur district, 110 kV high-voltage underground power transmission cables are being installed along Beshyagoch Street in the Chilonzor district. This process requires dismantling parts of the road surface.

The restrictions will be in effect from 00:00 on November 22 until December 10, affecting the following areas:

• Furkat Street: One-way traffic will be restricted from Beshyagoch Square to the intersection of Seoul Street.
• Beshyagoch Street: Two-way traffic will be restricted on the section between the intersections of Furkat, Afrosiyab, and Islam Karimov Streets.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!” stated the press release.

Earlier, traffic restrictions were implemented on one side of Babur Street between the intersections of Seoul Street and Bahodir Street for similar electrical cable installation work.
