Four planes diverted from landing in Tashkent due to heavy fog

Four aircraft were diverted to alternate airports due to adverse weather conditions, specifically heavy fog in Tashkent, Uzbekistan Airports reported.
According to the statement, heavy fog was observed at Tashkent International Airport on February 18.
The crew of Centrum Air flight C6422 on the St. Petersburg–Tashkent route was diverted to Navoi Airport.
Turkish Airlines flight THY368 from Istanbul to Tashkent was sent to the alternate airport in Samarkand.
Another Centrum Air flight, C6322 on the Jeddah–Tashkent route, was also diverted to the alternate airport in Samarkand.
Centrum Air flight C6512 from Guangzhou to Tashkent changed its route and was redirected to the alternate airport in Samarkand.
“Aircraft are operating in normal mode at Tashkent International Airport. Restrictions are in place only for arriving flights,” the statement said.
Earlier, it was reported that three flights had been forced to land at alternate airports due to adverse weather conditions, specifically strong lightning in Tashkent.
