22-year-old boy stabs 19-year-old friend in Tashkent

On May 22, in the Almazar district of Tashkent, a 22-year-old man stabbed his 19-year-old friend following a disagreement, the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital reported.
At around 8:00 p.m. in the "Chustiy" neighborhood, A.S., born in 2003, got into a quarrel with his friend S.U., born in 2006, which escalated into a physical fight. During the altercation, A.S. injured S.U. with a sharp object, inflicting a stab wound to the left side of his chest. The victim was promptly hospitalized.
The Investigation Department of the Federal Border Guard Service of the Almazar district has initiated a criminal case under Article 105, Part 2, Clause "m" of the Criminal Code (Intentional infliction of moderately grievous bodily harm with the use of a weapon or an object that can serve as a cold weapon). Investigative actions are ongoing, and a legal decision will be made upon conclusion of the inquiry.
It should be recalled that earlier, an inspector from the Post-Patrol Service of the Federal Border Guard Service in Yunusabad district was also stabbed while on duty near the Yunusabad market. Following operational measures, the suspect was detained and found to have been registered at a mental health dispensary since 2005.
