Indian citizen commits suicide in Tashkent

Sh.S., an Indian national born in 1963, who was employed by a private firm in Tashkent's Yakkasaroy district, has taken his own life. This information was disclosed to QALAMPIR.UZ by Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office.

According to reports, S. was living in Tashkent on a temporary residence permit. Prior to his death, he left a note written in both English and Russian, explaining that financial difficulties led to his suicide and that he held no grievances against anyone.

In his note, he also requested that his body be sent back to India. his suicide occurred on July 12, between 12:00 and 13:00, in the bathroom of his company's building, where he inflicted fatal wounds on his left forearm and neck using a razor. The Yakkasaroy district prosecutor's office is currently conducting an investigation into the matter.

It is noteworthy that on June 11, a 45-year-old Uzbek woman reportedly committed suicide in the bathroom of a private hospital in India.
