The MP detained in Tashkent is under suspicion for sexually assaulting a minor

Previously, Nuriddin Zaynitdinov, who holds various roles including deputy chairman of the Aeronautical Federation of Uzbekistan, deputy of the Liberal-Democratic Party in the Uchtepa District, and member of the Judiciary and Anti-Corruption Commission, was apprehended on April 13, as reported earlier.

As per the "Keeping Silence" project, Zaynitdinov's arrest is linked to allegations outlined in Article 119 of Uzbekistan's Criminal Code, relating to engaging in sexual acts in an unnatural manner.

The victim, a 14-year-old adolescent, had the crime reported to law enforcement by their parents. A criminal case has been initiated against the deputy under the aforementioned article, confirmed by law enforcement agencies.
