Some Highways in the Tashkent region will be closed for 4 days

6755In connection with the upcoming “Aqtosh-Chorbog’ Mountain” international cycling competition, which will take place on the 10th, 11th, 13th and 14th this year from 8:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m., certain highways in the Bostonliq and Ukurochirchik districts of Tashkent region will be temporarily closed. This information was reported by the Information Agency of Uzbekistan.
The following is a list of areas where vehicle movement will be completely restricted for the duration of the four-day event:
On 10th May, the section of the 4P10 "Chorbog Reservoir Ring Road" highway, specifically between the 80th and 70th kilometers, passing through the Bostonliq district, will be closed. This includes the Chorbog Reservoir Bridge.
On 11th May, the road from the 54th kilometer (entrance to the city of Gazalkent) to the 75th kilometer ("Bochka" eating places) of the 4P12 "Bektemir-Chorbog' Kurgani" highway leading to the Bostonliq district will be closed. Additionally, the 4P6 "Tashkent.sh – Chirchiq.sh – Chimyon" highway will be closed from kilometer 52 (Gazalkent football stadium) to kilometer 56 (exit to Glavasoy village). Furthermore, the 4P10 "Chorbog Reservoir Ring Road" between the 80th and 82nd kilometers, including the bridges of the Chorbog reservoir and the "old barrel," will also be closed.
On 13th May, the 4P12 "Bektemir-Chorbog fortress" highway leading to the Bostonliq district will be closed from the 34th kilometer (the bridge of the entrance to Chirchik) to the 54th kilometer (the entrance to the city of Gazalkent).
On 14th May, the 4P12 "Bektemir-Chorbog' Kurgoni" highway leading to the Bostonliq district will be closed from the 17th kilometer (near the New Uzbekistan Park) to the 75th kilometer ("Bochka" restaurants). Similarly, the 4P6 "Tashkent.sh – Chirchiq.sh – Chimyon" highway will be closed from the 56th kilometer (exit to Glavasoy village) to the 72nd kilometer (Amirsoy recreation area). Lastly, the 4P10 "Chorbog Reservoir Ring Road" sections between the 80th and 82nd kilometers, encompassing the Chorbog Reservoir bridge and the "old barrel" sections, will be completely restricted to vehicle traffic.
Please note that these closures are necessary to ensure the safety and smooth running of the international cycling competition taking place in the region.
