Traffic accident in Tashkent region: Toyota Lexus hits Nexia and pedestrian

On March 4 of this year, a Toyota Lexus car struck both a Nexia and a pedestrian standing beside it in the Tashkent district of the Tashkent region. This was reported by the regional traffic police press service.

According to the report, at approximately 12:40 pm, at the 812th kilometer of the M39 Almaty - Bishkek - Tashkent - Shakhrisabz - Termez highway, a 2005-born driver lost control of his Toyota Lexus vehicle. The car collided with a stationary Nexia on the side of the road and a pedestrian, a 1960-born man, standing next to the vehicle, resulting in the accident.

As a result of the crash, the pedestrian sustained various injuries and was hospitalized at the district central hospital.

The Investigation Department of the Tashkent District Internal Affairs Department has initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code (violation of the rules for the safety of movement or use of vehicles). Investigative measures are currently underway.

It should be noted that a similar incident occurred earlier when a Kawasaki motorcycle collided with a BYD vehicle in the Shaykhantohur district of Tashkent.
