Man suspected of killing wife detained in Tashkent region

A man suspected of killing his wife was detained in Tashkent region. This was reported by QALAMPIR.UZ, according to the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office Hayot Shamsutdinov.  

It is reported that the woman, born in 1997, returned to her parents' house 10 days before her death due to constant quarrels. On the night of February 8, her husband, born in 1992, came to the woman's parents' house, put her in his car, and drove away.  

After that, the woman's body was found in the area of ​​the city of Almalyk. The man suspected of killing her was detained.  

"She was only worried about money. She needed money for her medicine. Her mother-in-law also constantly pestered her. My daughter had to earn money for them. She was their breadwinner. Despite the fact that a protection order had been issued, he broke into the house. I want the highest, most severe punishment for him. He came home and deliberately killed my daughter, leaving the children orphaned. When we went to my house to say that a husband and wife were fighting, he would answer that he would not kill them,” the deceased’s mother said in an interview with the “Millar” program.  

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, a criminal case has been opened under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (Intentional murder). The suspect was detained in a procedural manner, and an investigation is underway.  

It should be recalled that earlier in the Tashkent region, a husband brutally beat his wife. The husband was detained in a procedural manner, and a criminal case has been opened against him under Article 126-1 of the Criminal Code (domestic violence).
