Hot water and heating tariffs raised in Tashkent region

2578The Tashkent Regional Council of People's Deputies has approved new tariffs for hot water and heating services, effective from February 1. The regional government’s press service announced the updates, which apply to heating enterprises across the region.
The new prices have been established for services provided by key entities, including the Tashkent Regional Production Department "Issiqlik Manbayi," SUE "Angren Thermal Energy," Chirchik "Issiqlik Manbayi" ICHK, and LLC "Almalyk Thermal Energy."
Under the revised rates, the "Issiqlik Manabi" Production Department will charge 93,464 soums per 1 Gcal of thermal energy for residential customers. For households equipped with a meter, the cost for 1 cubic meter of water will be 5,144 soums.
Here are the new tariffs in summary:
- Thermal Energy (1 Gcal): 93,464 soums (for households)
- Metered Water (1 cubic meter): 5,144 soums
These adjustments are part of broader efforts to align utility pricing with operational and market demands.
Previously, Ilhom Turayev, head of the Department of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, announced plans for a two-fold increase in heating and hot water tariffs by 2025.
