New hot water supply tariffs announced in Tashkent

Earlier, it was reported that tariffs for hot water and heating services for residents of Tashkent would increase by 15 percent. Veolia Energy Tashkent has now announced the new service rates.
According to the company, the updated tariffs will take effect on November 12 of this year and are as follows:
- Central heating – 241.44 soums per square meter of heated area per day;
- Hot water (without meter) – 52,303.39 soums per person per month;
- Hot water (in dormitories equipped with shared showers) – 38,908.16 soums per person per month;
- Hot water (with meter) – 8,928.67 soums per cubic meter.
It is noted that losses resulting from the application of reduced tariffs for heating services to the population, as well as expenses based on investment-related calculations, will be covered through monthly subsidies allocated from the local budget of Tashkent city.
