An Individual Who Attempted to Sell 1 Hectare of Land for 33 Thousand Dollars was Arrested in Tashkent Region

An individual who tried to sell 1 hectare of land to the head of a farm for 33 thousand US dollars was arrested in Tashkent region.  Meanwhile, in the Kashkadarya region, a person who wanted to pay for 1.5 hectares of land was also caught while receiving a bribe of 2,000 US dollars.  This was reported to QALAMPIR.UZ by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It was reported that a quick action meeting was held in Boka district by the Rapid Search Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Rapid Search Service of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Tashkent region.  During the event, it was revealed that the individual born in 1960 had come to sell 1 hectare of arable land in the government’s reserve for 33 thousand US dollars to the head of one of the farms in the district.

The suspect was caught with physical evidence when he promised to issue documents through his acquaintances working in the district cadastral agency and had received 10,000 US dollars and 6,200,000 soms from the agreed money.

In connection with the situation, a criminal case was initiated by the Investigative Department under the Department of Internal Affairs of the Tashkent region under Article 168, Part 4, Clause “a”, Article 28, Article 211, Part 3, Clause “a”, and the suspect is under criminal procedure.  Arrested in accordance with Article 221 of the Code.

Also, in cooperation with the employees of the Kashkadarya regional office of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes and the prosecutor’s office of the Kashkadarya region, a quick event was held in Koson district by the employees of the IIB Rapid Investigation Service of Kashkadarya region.  In it, the person who had agreed to sell 1.5 hectares of land belonging to the cocoon farm for 340 million soms and promised to complete the documents through his acquaintances working in the government office, was caught with physical evidence when he received 2,000 US dollars as a deposit from the agreed money.

In connection with the situation, a criminal case was initiated by the Kashkadarya regional office of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under Article 168, Part 1 and Article 28, Article 211, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, and investigations are underway.
