New deputy was appointed to the mayor of Tashkent region

6315Otabek Tursunov has been appointed as the first deputy mayor of the Tashkent region, overseeing finance, economy, and poverty alleviation, as well as serving as the head of the regional economy and finance department. This appointment was announced by the press service of the regional government.
Before this role, Tursunov was the deputy head of the Cabinet of Ministers' Secretariat, responsible for the economy, industry, finance banking, taxation, state assets, entrepreneurship support, and poverty alleviation.
Born in 1984 in Andijan, Otabek Tursunov holds a higher education degree, graduating in 2007 from the Andijan Institute of Engineering and Economics. He began his career as a supplier for Andijan City’s "Sanoat Kurilish temp" LLC and has since held various significant positions within the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Alleviation.
It is important to note that Botir Alimbekov, the former first deputy mayor responsible for agriculture and water management, was recently dismissed from his position due to his inability to capitalize on the agricultural opportunities in the Tashkent region and effectively utilize existing systems.
Additionally, Erkin Muhiddinov, another first deputy of the governor, was released from his role due to work deficiencies and unsatisfactory performance in his duties.
