Drinking water prices to rise in Tashkent region starting July 1

Starting July 1, 2025, new tariffs for drinking water and sewage services will come into force in the Tashkent region. This was announced by the press service of the regional government.

The regional Council of People's Deputies has approved the following new rates:

Drinking water:

- For the population: 1 m³ – 2,600 sums
- For budgetary organizations: 1 m³ – 15,000 sums
- For wholesale consumers: 1 m³ – 15,000 sums

Sewage services:

- For the population: 1 m³ – 1,300 sums
- For budgetary organizations: 1 m³ – 3,000 sums
- For wholesale consumers: 1 m³ – 3,000 sums

These prices do not include value-added tax (VAT).

For comparison, on April 1, 2025, the Samarkand region introduced new rates where one cubic meter of drinking water was set at 2,800 sums for the population, and sewage services at 1,900 sums.
