The aviation authorities of Uzbekistan and Russia have agreed to increase the frequency of flights on the Moscow-Tashkent route from 25 to 39 flights per week.  This is reported on the website of the Russian Federal Transport for Air Transport.

Flights from the Uzbekistan side will be operated by the airlines “Uzbekistan Airways” and «Qanot Sharq», and from Russia – “Aeroflot”, “Siberia” and “Utair”.

The list of Russian airlines flying to Tashkent may increase after the introduction of new flights.

“The increase in the number of regular flights between the capitals of the two countries will have a positive impact on the further development of bilateral cooperation and will meet the demand for passenger transport between Uzbekistan and Russia”, - the report says.
