Two deputies have been appointed to the mayor of Tashkent, as reported by the city's press service.

Bakhtiyor Halimovich Haydarov has been named the first deputy mayor of Tashkent, responsible for finance, the economy, and poverty alleviation.

Bakhtiyor Haydarov was born in 1989 in Bukhara. He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Finance with a bachelor's degree in 2010 and a master's degree in 2012. He began his career in 2009 and has undertaken several significant responsibilities. Most recently, he served as the head of the Department of Development of Important Initiatives in the Social Sector of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Sanjar Shuhratovich Tojiyev has been appointed deputy mayor of Tashkent, overseeing tourism, culture, cultural heritage, and mass communications.

Sanjar Tojiyev was born in Tashkent in 1981. He graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies with a bachelor's degree in 2003 and a master's degree in 2006. He began his professional career in 2003 and has held various significant positions, including the first deputy head of the General Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Tashkent.
