Deputy mayor appointed in Tashkent

Mirmuhammad Mirshahidovich Mirhamidov has been appointed deputy mayor of Tashkent in charge of compliance and internal anti-corruption control. The Tashkent City Administration reported this.

For reference, Mirmuhammad Mirhamidov was born in 1982 in Tashkent. He has a higher education and is a qualified lawyer. He graduated from the National University of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent State Law Institute. He holds the rank of senior justice adviser.

Since 2006, Mirhamidov has worked in various positions within the prosecutorial system.

From 2023 to the present, he has served as deputy head of the department for oversight of the legality of enforcement of court decisions and acts of other bodies at the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that earlier, senior justice adviser Zohid Karayev was appointed deputy chairman of the board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC in charge of compliance and internal anti-corruption control.
