Anvar Urmanov appointed acting prosecutor of Tashkent

Anvar Urmanov has been appointed Acting Prosecutor of Tashkent City, according to a statement released by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
From July 15 to August 15, preventive measures will be carried out in Tashkent as part of the “Safe and Healthy Capital” month dedicated to combating crime and offenses. In this regard, Acting City Prosecutor Anvar Urmanov also took part in related training sessions.
For reference, Anvar Urmanov has been serving as the First Deputy Prosecutor of Tashkent since 2023. Before that, he worked as a prosecutor in the Shaykhontohur and Sergeli districts.
It should be noted that Erkin Yuldoshev, who served as the prosecutor of the capital from January 2023 to July 2025, has been appointed Head of the Compliance Service at the Presidential Administration.
