“Turkiston” and “Yunusabad” stations of the Tashkent metro will be opened

“The Turkiston and Yunusabad stations of the Tashkent metro are set to reopen on December 25,” announced the "Tashkent Metro" information service.
Following the completion of preventive maintenance, both stations will resume regular operations from 5:00 am to 12:00 am daily starting this year-end.
"The implemented upgrades will significantly reduce train intervals during peak hours, initially from 10 minutes to 4 minutes, with plans to further decrease to 2 minutes," the statement added.
Previously closed for a scheduled four-month maintenance period from August 26, these stations are now ready to resume service, as confirmed by Toychi Mirzaev, head of the press service of "Tashkent Metropolite," in an interview with QALAMPIR.UZ. Detailed information will soon follow.
