When will the “Turkiston” and “Yunusabad” stations of the Tashkent metro reopen?

Previously, we announced that the "Turkiston" and "Yunusabad" stations on the Yunusabad line were closed for four months for preventive maintenance. The anticipated reopening date for this route was set for December 26 of this year. However, according to an interview with QALAMPIR.UZ, Toychi Mirzaev, the head of the press service of "Tashkent Metropolite," mentioned that the specific opening day is currently uncertain.

"We're in the final stage of preventive maintenance at the moment. The exact date for the stations' reopening is unclear. We'll provide more detailed information soon," he stated.

As an alternative, a high-capacity bus service now operates between the "Turkestan-Yunusabad-Shahristan" metro stations to transport passengers during this closure. These buses operate daily from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

It's worth noting that the operating schedule of the Tashkent metro stations "Technopark" (Dostlik-2) and "Yashnobad" (2nd station) was previously temporarily adjusted.
