Videos of the Tashkent-Istanbul flight cancellation and the fact that approximately 400 people had been waiting at the airport for 12 hours circulated on social networks, leading to extensive discussions. "Uzbekistan Airports" issued an official response to the situation.

According to reports, Turkish Airlines flight THY-371, which was scheduled to operate the Tashkent-Istanbul route, experienced several hours of delay due to technical issues. Consequently, the airline made the decision to cancel the flight.

As per the original schedule, the A-333 aircraft, carrying 265 passengers, was supposed to depart at 02:35 Tashkent time. However, due to a technical fault in the plane, the flight was delayed, and passengers were accommodated in the waiting area.

"In the morning, the airline chose to cancel this flight and arranged for the transportation of passengers to Istanbul via alternative flights. Additionally, passengers were provided with food and offered accommodation in a hotel," the statement mentioned.
