The Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department issued an appeal to parents and warned them of the dangerous consequences of the "Ryodan" youth movement.
It is reported that Uzbekistan also has fans of the international youth movement "Ryodan", inspired by the heroes of one of the Japanese comics.

What should we know about the movement and the risks that come with it?

When the Ryodan movement was founded, it consisted of a few virtual communities on the internet: they were fans of Japanese animation art and had no other goals than to unite teenagers around their interests.  The children would discuss their favorite art and choose similar clothes (checkered pants and t-shirts with a picture of a spider and the number 4 on the back).

However, over time, the movement went in a different direction, with several aggressive individuals involved.  They aimed to destabilize the situation in the region and control the teenagers by influencing them with their skewed worldviews.  As a result, children who were influenced by the rhetoric of these anonymous persons on the network, gathered in public places and started organizing public disturbances.

Currently, such cases organized by the "Ryodan" movement have been recorded in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, and several other countries.  Quarrels have led to various degrees of physical injuries to the parties, damage to the property of individuals, and initiation of many administrative and criminal cases.  We must prevent such consequences in our country.

"Dear parents! Pay attention to your children, study their interests, especially do not be indifferent to their subcultural interests," said the appeal of the capital DIA.

Also, according to the law enforcement agency, children's interest in anime and manga cannot be condemned.  However, it is necessary to make sure that children are not influenced by unknown persons due to this interest, and that they do not lose the ability to distinguish the virtual world from reality.

"Don't be indifferent to the life of your children, the changes that they are going through: discuss their interests and passions by engaging with them, in this way you will learn their opinion and you will be able to notice the changes that are happening in them." DIA concluded in his address.
