Tashkent SAI chief resigns

Rafiqjon Qo’ldoshevich Jalilov, head of the Road Traffic Safety Department at the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs, has resigned at his own request. This information was reported by a source within the internal affairs agencies to QALAMPIR.UZ.
Rafiqjon Jalilov has been serving in this position since March 2019. In May 2024, Colonel Muhammad Odilov was appointed as the acting head of the Tashkent City Road Traffic Safety Department.
However, the city's Main Department of Internal Affairs press service has yet to issue an official statement regarding these appointments.
It should be noted that earlier, Colonel Olim Choriqulovich Saidov, head of the Road Traffic Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Public Safety Department, was relieved of his position due to his transfer to another job. Colonel Sherzod Shokirovich Ibragimov was appointed as the new head of the Road Traffic Safety Service.
