A citizen of Uzbekistan who has been financing a terrorist organization is arrested

It has been discovered that the Uzbekistani citizen was supporting and financing the activities of a terrorist organization in Syria. This information was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs' information service.

It is noted that G.O., a citizen born in 1994 in the Fergana region, went to South Korea where he established contact with the leaders of the terrorist organization. Subsequently, he began to finance their illegal activities.

In light of this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 1553 and 2442 of the Criminal Code, and preliminary investigations are underway.

"Dear citizens, please exercise caution when working or studying in foreign countries. Remember that succumbing to the influence of terrorist organization recruiters and participating in their activities will lead to serious consequences! Do not remain indifferent to your fate," the ministry stated.
