What did the Leaders agree on at the TDT Summit?

3356On November 6, in Bishkek, several decisions were made, and multilateral documents were signed following the 11th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Turkic States. This was reported by the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadir Japarov, who is presiding over the event.
At the conclusion of the summit, the leaders of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States adopted the following key documents:
- The Bishkek Declaration of the 11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States;
- The decision to adopt the Turkish Green Vision: Unity for a Sustainable Future;
- The decision to designate Bishkek as the digital capital of the Organization of Turkic States for 2025;
- The decision to award Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán the highest honor of the Turkic world;
- The decision to adopt the Charter of the Turkic World, developed at the initiative of Uzbekistan;
- The decision to appoint deputy secretaries general of the Organization of Turkic States;
- The decision to adopt the Regulation on Permanent Representatives of the Organization of Turkic States;
- The decision to adopt the flag of the Organization of Turkic States.
Additionally, the following agreements were signed during the summit:
- An agreement on the creation of a Civil Protection Mechanism for the Organization of Turkic States (TDT);
- An agreement on cooperation in the field of the digital economy;
- A Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Turkish Green Finance Council;
- A Memorandum on the creation of the Council of Central Banks of the Turkic States;
- A Memorandum of Understanding on the development of the TDT Earth observation technology satellite;
- A Memorandum of Understanding on the development of the Great Turkic Language Model for TDT.
The event, chaired by Kyrgyz President Sadir Japarov, was attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and Kubanichbek Omuraliyev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States.
As part of the agenda, the leaders exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of multilateral cooperation within the organization, as well as discussed issues related to practical partnerships.
