Tajimuratov, Kallikhanova, and Turdanov were told what kind of charges are being brought against them

20123As we previously reported, today, 28 November, an open court is being held in the building of the Bukhara Regional Court in consideration of the criminal case against 22 people suspected of participating in the riots that took place in Nukus on 1-2 July.
At the beginning of the court session on the criminal case related to the events of Nukus, judge Ye. Abibullayev explained to the participants the procedure for conducting the court session.
After that, the names of the trial participants were announced one by one.
At first, the names of the main defendants - Dauletmurat Tajimuratov, Azamat Turdanov, and Lolagul Kallikhonova - were mentioned.
• Dauletmurat Tajimuratov (born in 1979, a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, nationality - Karakalpak, lawyer of the "Yel serotine" law office, previously worked as the editor-in-chief of "Yel serotine" newspaper) Article 28,104 of the Criminal Code (participation in intentional inflicting serious injury) part 3, point "a", article 159 (attack on the constitutional system of the Republic of Uzbekistan) part 4, article 167 (embezzlement or looting using strata) 3 -part "a", Article 243 (legalization of proceeds from criminal activities), Article 244 (public riots), Part 3 and Article 244-1 (preparation, storage, distribution or display of materials that threaten public safety and public order reach) in clauses "a", "b", "g" of Part 3;
• Lolagul Kallikhanova (born in 1989, a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, nationality - Karakalpak, administrator of the "Makan" internet publication) of the Criminal Code, Article 28, 104, Part 3, Clause "a", Article 159, Part 4, in clauses "a", "b", "g" of Article 244, Part 3 and Article 244-1, Part 3;
• Azamat Turdanov (born in 1984, a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, nationality - Karakalpak, director of the Nukus Olympic Reserve College) Article 28,104, Part 3, Clause "a", Article 159, Part 4 and Article 244, 3 of the Criminal Code - is accused of committing the crime referred to in part.
