Olimjon Suyunovich Abdullayev has been appointed the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan by the President of the Republic. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs press service reported this appointment.

Abdullayev has extensive experience within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prior to his current role, he served as the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from 2021 to 2024.

It is worth recalling that in July of this year, Ilhom Otkurovich Haydarov, the former chairman of the "Uztextileprom" (O'zto'qimachiliksanoat) Association and Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Ukraine (2006-2009), was also appointed as a Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
