Renowned uzbek mathematician Azimboy Sadullayev dies at 78

Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Professor of the Department of Mathematical Analysis at the National University of Uzbekistan, and Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Azimboy Sadullayev, passed away today, May 28, at the age of 78. This was reported by the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that the scientific school founded by Azimboy Sadullayev, his many students, and his extensive research have earned recognition not only in Uzbekistan but also internationally. His pioneering work in the fields of the "theory of functions with many complex variables "and the "theory of complex potentials" gained widespread respect among mathematicians around the world.
Throughout his career, Sadullayev was honored with numerous awards, including the Certificate of Honor of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the “Uzbekistan Belgisi” badge, and the “Mehnat Shuhrati” order.
It is worth recalling that earlier, Zafar Abdullayevich Hakimov, head of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and a prominent state and public figure, also passed away.
