Surkhandarya reserve burned for nearly nine hours (video)

As previously reported, a fire broke out in a state nature reserve in the Surkhandarya region. The blaze, which began on July 23 at 15:50, was fully extinguished on July 24 at 00:35. This was confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the report, the Fire Safety Department received a call through the 112 emergency system at 15:52, reporting a fire covering approximately 5 hectares in the Surkhan State Reserve, located in the Kyzylolma Federal District of the Sherabad district.

Following the report, fire and rescue crews, along with personnel from relevant agencies, arrived at the scene. The fire was brought under control by 22:25 and completely extinguished by 00:35.

It should be recalled that earlier, a fire occurred in an open area in Tashkent’s Chilanzar district, where dry grass and used car tires burned.
