On October 4, in the Kumkurgan district of Surkhandarya region, employees of "Surkhandarya Water Supply" JSC lost consciousness due to a lack of air while cleaning a sewage well. This was reported by the organization’s press service.
It was noted that three technicians working in the water supply department fainted while cleaning sewage well in the Dostlik neighborhood of Kumkurgan district. The district's emergency services and medical team responded quickly to the scene. With the assistance of responsible organizations and public representatives, the employees were pulled out of the well and taken to the district emergency department for first aid.
Preliminary reports indicate that their lives were saved, and they are currently receiving medical treatment under the supervision of doctors.
It should be recalled that earlier, employees of "Jizzakh Water Supply" JSC were assaulted by a businessman and his subordinates. The incident occurred at a teahouse where the entrepreneur was illegally using drinking water without proper installation of online monitoring equipment or a state standard seal. After being warned of the violation, the businessman attacked two employees while they were preparing documents related to the damage caused to the company. A similar situation was found in another branch of the same tea house, where water was used without proper control measures in place.
