In the Uzun district of the Surkhandarya region, an inspector of the Road Safety Service was caught accepting a bribe. Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office, informed QALAMPIR.UZ about this.
It is noted that 39-year-old inspector Sh.A., the driver, who had tinted the windows of his Gentra without getting a special permit, was charged 800 US dollars for not issuing a document on the modification.
After that, he was caught with physical evidence while handling the money demanded by the inspector.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 210 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is ongoing.
