In social networks, reports spread that an 11th-grade student sexually abused a 9th-grade student at secondary school No. 64 in the Denov district of the Surkhandarya region. The regional Department of Preschool and School Education responded to this incident.
It was noted that the incident involving minors studying in grades 11 and 9 occurred outside of school several months ago. However, the school administration immediately investigated the incident, discussed it with the participation of parents, and notified the internal affairs bodies. Currently, an appropriate investigation is underway into the incident.
“During the investigation, the protection of the rights, honor and dignity of minors, as well as their mental state, is a priority. In this regard, we would like to remind you that it is inappropriate to draw unilateral conclusions and disseminate unconfirmed information before the investigation is completed,” the report says.
It is reported that the school administration is taking necessary measures in cooperation with the responsible authorities. Additional information will be provided in accordance with the procedure established by law based on the results of the investigation.
It is worth noting that earlier, a 31-year-old convict serving his sentence in a penal colony located in the Akhangaron district of the Tashkent region escaped and raped a 3rd grade girl. Later, he was sentenced to 18 years in prison by a court verdict.
