Head of the Surkhandarya Emergency Situations Department also replaced

By the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, Sharof Tojiboevich Shukurov has been appointed head of the Surkhandarya Regional Emergency Situations Department. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.

Prior to this appointment, he had served as First Deputy Head and Chief of Staff of the Jizzakh Regional Emergency Situations Department since 2022.

For reference, Sharof Shukurov was born in 1979 in Jizzakh. In 2000, he graduated from the Higher Technical School of Fire Protection under the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a bachelor's degree, and in 2005, he completed a master’s degree at the same institution. His area of specialization is life safety and the organization of emergency services.

Throughout his career, he has held various positions within the Emergency Situations Departments of Jizzakh and Surkhandarya regions.

It is worth noting that earlier, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel Khurshid Aliboev, was appointed head of the Navoi Regional Emergency Situations Department.
