13503The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced that Khudoyor Bakhtiyor ugli Nuriddinov, known online as "Abu Valid," is wanted on multiple criminal charges.
Born on September 27, 1994, in the Rishton district of the Fergana region, Nuriddinov is a resident of the Turabod neighborhood, Mustaqillikning 22 yilligi street, house 24, Rishton district.
The State Security Service has launched a criminal case against him under several articles of Uzbekistan's Criminal Code, including:
- Article 155-2: Training, leaving, or moving for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities
- Article 159: Encroachment on the constitutional system of Uzbekistan
- Article 223: Illegal departure abroad or entry into Uzbekistan
- Article 244-2: Establishment, leadership, or participation in religious extremist, separatist, fundamentalist, or other prohibited organizations
According to authorities, Nuriddinov traveled to Russia in 2016 as a labor migrant, where he was influenced by international terrorist organizations. He later moved to Idlib, Syria, where he allegedly promoted propaganda, causing several Uzbek citizens to join the fighting, some of whom died. Nuriddinov continues to post calls for jihad on YouTube and other platforms.
The content linked to him is banned in Uzbekistan. Possessing, sharing, or distributing such materials is a criminal offense under Uzbek law.
Previously, another Uzbek citizen, Davlat Ibrahim ugli Tillaberdiev, was also placed on the wanted list for participating in armed actions against the Syrian government. He reportedly joined an international terrorist group in Turkey before moving to Syria in September 2019. He underwent military training at the "Havan" base of the "Secretary of Tawhid and Jihad" organization and later took part in armed confrontations against the Syrian government.
