A video depicting a powerful flood on April 13 in Soqoq village, Parkent district, circulated on social media. The Tashkent regional government addressed the issue.
On April 13, heavy rainfall caused flooding in the Chashma neighborhood of Soqoq village, Parkent district.
Due to the excessive rain, water overflowed from the Chashma neighborhood area of Soqoq village, Parkent district, onto the adjacent highway.
Following the incident, Parkent District Emergency Situations Department and relevant agencies conducted an investigation, confirming no casualties.
Uzgidromet warned of potential floods in mountainous areas from April 12-15 due to expected heavy rainfall.
