The Supreme Council of Judges composition was changed

On June 22, modifications to the Supreme Council of Judges of the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed and decided upon during the 53rd plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

After deliberations, senators appointed Muzaffar Zafarovich Kukiyev as a permanent member of the Supreme Council of Judges, based on the President's recommendation. Kukiev will serve a five-year term as a judge on the Council.

Additionally, Khudoyqul Tojiyevich Azizov, Asqarjon Boyisovich Gafurov, and Ahrorkhon Mominovich Hoshimkhonov were elected as public members of the Supreme Council of Judges, each for a five-year term.

The tenure of Qahramon Uljayev, a public member of the Supreme Council of Judges, was terminated prematurely.

"The Senate has adopted the appropriate decision regarding the discussed issue," the announcement stated.

It is also noteworthy that a new manager was recently appointed to "Uzbekistan Airports" JSC.
