Uzbekistan’s Tax Committee has issued a warning about fraudulent emails falsely claiming that recipients have outstanding tax debts and must make immediate payments. The announcement was shared via the committee’s official social media pages.
Officials clarified that these messages—purportedly sent in the name of the Tax Committee—are a form of scam and have no connection to legitimate tax authorities.
The Tax Committee emphasized that all official electronic tax documents are only sent through my.soliq.uz and my3.soliq.uz, where taxpayers can access their accounts.
Tax calculations and outstanding payments are displayed in real-time via the personal cabinet and the "Tax" (Soliq) mobile app. If taxpayers have any concerns, they are advised to contact their assigned tax inspectors.
The committee further urged citizens to avoid unverified information, suspicious links, attachments, and downloaded files.
Earlier, Uzbekistan’s Cadastral Agency had also warned citizens about fraudulent schemes related to land acquisition, cautioning them against falling for scams.
