“Manchester City” fans criticize UFA

"Manchester City" fans are strongly criticizing the Football Association of Uzbekistan (UFA). They have written an appeal to the UFA in the comments under a post on the association's Instagram page regarding Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov.  

“The Football Association of Uzbekistan, in the situation with Abdukodir Khusanov, you are not paying attention to his safety. Do not forget that you are responsible for Khusanov’s security. As seen in the videos circulating on social media, he is surrounded by many people, both familiar and unfamiliar. This is distracting the player and making him nervous. It is your duty to ensure that he remains safe and under control. Whether in Uzbekistan or when traveling abroad with the national team, his security is your responsibility. Do not waste Khusanov’s free time on unnecessary matters. Let his football career always come first. Such mismanagement and negligence are unacceptable. Do your job better,” the comment reads.  

Khusanov arrived in Tashkent on March 17 to participate in matches with the Uzbekistan national team. He played in the match against Kyrgyzstan at "Bunyodkor" Stadium on March 20. The team’s next match is scheduled for March 25 against Iran in Tehran. "Manchester City" has also arranged a special plane for Khusanov’s return to Manchester after the national team’s training camp.  

Previously, it was reported that upon his arrival in Tashkent, the 21-year-old defender was presented with a Mercedes-Benz G-Class, commonly known as a "Gelik," by Ulugbek Asanboev.
