1639On December 7, 200 homes in Syrdarya region were left without power after a Nexia driver crashed into a utility pole. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
The incident occurred at 00:40 when a civilian-driven car collided with a 10 kV reinforced concrete pole connected to the Yangiyer substation in the city of Yangiyer. The impact caused significant damage to the support structure. As a result, 200 homes in the area lost power.
Emergency response teams from the Yangiyer city power supply enterprise quickly addressed the issue, restoring power by 05:00 and ensuring a stable electricity supply for residents.
It is also worth noting that earlier, thousands of households in Andijan were left without gas when a truck collided with a pipeline. The gas supply to 3,200 households and 9 wholesale consumers in the Ulugnor district was temporarily halted at 07:10 to resolve the emergency situation.
