Money collected for a mosque was stolen in Syrdarya

Money that had been collected for the construction of a mosque in Syrdarya was embezzled by 2 persons. This was reported by the Cyber Security Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that the citizen M.S. posted an ad on Telegram to distribute bank card information for a planned mosque in the city to donors.
A person who introduced himself to M.S. as a woman working in Russia said that he wanted to donate 150 US dollars. This person stole 73,400,000 soms by getting the SMS message sent to his bank card.
It is understood that this crime was committed by E. A. (1996), a resident of Kosonsoy district, Namangan region, and N.J., (2002) a resident of Sergeli district, Tashkent city.
A criminal case was initiated against these two persons under Article 168 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is currently underway.
