Earlier, we reported the detection of a methane gas station in Syrdarya, resulting in over 62 billion in state damages.
The General Prosecutor's Office's press service confirmed the arrest of two individuals linked to this incident.
As per the available information, officials of LLC "B.M." and accomplices illicitly tapped directly into the gas network at the gas filling compressor station in the "Beruniy" neighborhood of Boyovut district. This was done without a meter for commercial purposes, with the intent of generating unlawful income by stealing natural gas.
In response to this situation, "B.M." and others are facing charges under Article 169 (theft) of the Criminal Code, part 4. A criminal case has been initiated, leading to the detention of two individuals in accordance with procedural protocols.
