Xi Jinping is officially met in Samarkand

Today 15 September, an official ceremony took place at the Samarkand Congress Center to meet President Xi Jinping of the Peoples' Republic of China, who is in the country on a state visit.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and President Xi Jinping of China, proceeded to the podium where the national anthems of the two countries were played. A guard of honor marched solemnly.
The ceremony was also attended by members of the official delegations of the two countries.
After a photo had been taken of the two presidents, negotiations between the leaders of Uzbekistan and China began.
