Uzbek national team striker Eldor Shomurodov, currently with "Roma," may continue his career with another Italian club. This development was reported by the management of Shomurodov's current team.

Last season, Shomurodov was on loan at Cagliari, but the Sardinian club chose not to exercise their option to purchase him, leaving his transfer rights with "Roma." Now, Sampdoria has entered the competition for the player's transfer. Details of the potential contract are not yet available.

Should Shomurodov join Sampdoria in Serie B, he would have the chance to train under Andrea Pirlo, a renowned former player.

For context, the 29-year-old Shomurodov scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists in 22 Serie A matches during his loan spell with Cagliari last season.

It is also worth noting that earlier reports suggested Shomurodov might continue his career in the US Major League Soccer. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, "Atlanta United" has made an offer to "Roma" for Shomurodov.
