Roma secures quarter-final spot with victory over Eintracht
In the eighth and final round, Roma hosted Eintracht, one of the tournament's frontrunners, and claimed a 2-0 victory to secure a place in the quarter-finals. Uzbek forward Eldor Shomurodov, who came on as a substitute, found the net in the 69th minute, sealing his team's win. With this result, Roma accumulated 12 points and advanced in 15th place.
English clubs dominate and reach the last eight
Manchester United secured a 2-0 away win against FCSB, finishing third in the final group standings and earning direct qualification to the quarter-finals.
Tottenham also ended the round with a convincing victory, defeating Elfsborg 3-0 at home. With 17 points, the London club finished fourth in the standings and joined the eight teams advancing directly to the next stage.
Quarter-finalists confirmed
Lazio and Athletic Club, who achieved identical results over eight rounds, secured the top two spots. The remaining six quarter-finalists are Manchester United, Tottenham, Eintracht, Lyon, Olympiacos, and Rangers.
Teams eliminated from the tournament
According to the final standings, teams ranked below 24th have been eliminated from the competition. Among them are Braga, Elfsborg, Beşiktaş, Nice, and several others.
As previously noted, the top eight teams have advanced directly to the quarter-finals, while clubs ranked 9th to 24th will determine their play-off opponents in the upcoming draw.
