Eldor Shomurodov, striker for Italian club AS Roma and member of the Uzbekistan national team, has received an offer from a club in the U.S. Major League Soccer (MLS), according to French outlet "L’Equipe".

The report states that Roma is prepared to part ways with the 29-year-old forward, despite his current contract running until the summer of 2026. The identity of the MLS club making the offer has not been disclosed.

It is worth noting that Shomurodov previously attracted interest from Atlanta United and a Canadian MLS club last year. However, the transfer did not materialize due to documentation issues.

Last season, Shomurodov featured in 37 matches across all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists. According to "Transfermarkt", his current market value is estimated at €4 million.

For context, it was recently reported that Roma signed another forward, Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk, further signaling the club's readiness to release Shomurodov.
