Poet Bahodir Iso has passed away at 68

8150Today, February 25, Bahodir Iso, a distinguished youth coach, member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, and renowned poet, passed away. This was reported by the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan.
According to the report, the funeral prayer will be held today at 11:00 in the village of Dotir, Rishton district.
Born in 1956 in Dotir village, Rishton district, Fergana province, Bahodir Iso graduated from Fergana Pedagogical Institute in 1977. However, he dedicated most of his life to literature and the arts, leaving a lasting impact on Uzbekistan’s literary scene.
His poems and epics were widely published across Uzbekistan’s media outlets and literary collections. He is especially remembered for his 1988 poetry collection "Khayrli Tun", which gained him recognition among poetry lovers.
We would like to remind you that earlier, People's Artist of Uzbekistan and renowned maqom performer Nafisa Tukhtayeva also passed away at the age of 83.
