Uzbek professional boxer Shahjakhan Ergashev is concluding his career in boxing, as disclosed by the athlete himself to QALAMPIR.UZ. The 31-year-old boxer, considered a contender for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt, will retire from professional boxing regardless of the outcome of the upcoming fight against Sabriel Matias from Puerto Rico scheduled for the morning of November 26.

Despite having several fights remaining in his contract with the "Salita" promotion, Shahjakhan has decided to bring an end to his career due to the extended periods of separation from his family caused by his sporting commitments.

It is noteworthy that the bout for the IBF belt between Sabriel Matias and Shahjakhan Ergashev is set to commence on the morning of November 26 at 6:30 a.m. In the headline event of the tournament, interim WBC middleweight champion David Benavides will square off against former two-weight world champion Demetrius Andrade.
