Sherzodkhan Qudrathoja, the rector of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications, may face a ban from entering Russia, according to Yevgeny Primakov, the head of "Rossotrudnichestvo."

During an interview, Sherzodkhan Qudrathoja, also the Chairman of the National Media Association of Uzbekistan and Rector of University of  Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan, referred to individuals who reside in a country without speaking its language as either "invaders or lunatics."

Additionally, Amir, the rector of the University of Journalism, highlighted the significance of Temur's march to the Golden Horde in saving and strengthening the Russian state.

Following Qudrathoja's statement, Yevgeny Primakov warned that communication with the journalist could cease, and both he and his relatives might be barred from entering Russia. Primakov emphasized the need for an apology from the Uzbek journalist regarding his remarks.

Previously, historian Mikhail Smolin's assertion that there were no Uzbek people before 1917 stirred controversy, leading to the Russian ambassador being summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan after writer Zakhar Prilepin discussed "Uzbekistan's annexation to Russia.”
