Uzbekistan presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov paid a three-day visit to Moscow, where he met with Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, and Dmitry Peskov, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration and presidential press secretary. Asadov announced this on his Telegram channel.

“During the three-day visit to Moscow, our delegation held meetings with Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation; Dmitry Peskov, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration and presidential press secretary; Vadim Titov, Head of the Presidential Directorate for Strategic Partnership and Cooperation; Sergey Novikov, Head of the Presidential Directorate for Public Projects; and Tatyana Matveyeva, Head of the Presidential Directorate for ICT and Communications Infrastructure Development,” Asadov said.

According to him, meetings were also held with representatives of several Russian public and youth organizations, as well as creative and media organizations.

The main focus was on developing regular professional dialogue, expanding cooperation between press services, analytical centers and public organizations, and holding joint educational events.

“The introduction to the activities of the Senezh Management Workshop, a modern center specializing in the training of management personnel, was of great interest,” the Uzbekistan presidential press secretary said.

According to Asadov, the meetings confirmed the parties’ readiness for open dialogue, exchange of experience and implementation of joint projects in the field of media and communications.
