Sister of Sheikh Alijon Qari passes away after long illness

On July 21, the sister of Sheikh Alijon Qari Fayzullah Makhdum, head of the “Teaching the Quran and Tajweed” department at the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, passed away after a long battle with a serious illness. The Muslim Board of Uzbekistan reported the news.
According to the statement, the late sister of Sheikh Alijon Qari studied at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.
“It is worth noting that she was one of the creators of the ‘Al-Fatiha Online’ program in the ‘AlQuran’ mobile application and contributed significantly to improving the Quran recitation of many women,” the statement said.
The deceased had been struggling with a severe illness for an extended period.
The funeral prayer will be held today, July 22, after the afternoon prayer at 5:45 p.m. at her family home in the village of Boylarovul, Gallaorol district, Jizzakh region.
