Shavkat Mirziyoyev awards the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the order “Friendship”

Deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov was awarded the Order of “Friendship” of Uzbekistan.  This is reported by the press service under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Within the framework of the visit of the delegation, led by (Acting) Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov to Ashgabat, Rashid Meredov was awarded for his great personal contribution to the development and strengthening of centuries-old relations of friendship and good-neighborliness, Strategic Partnership, and multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.  A solemn ceremony dedicated to awarding the “Friendship” Order was organized.

The corresponding decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan was read out by the (Acting) Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Norov.

Rashid Meredov expressed gratitude to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan for high appreciation of his (Rashid Meredov) work and for awarding the “Friendship” order.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan stated that he intended to make every effort to develop a multifaceted and strategic partnership between the two fraternal countries.
